Bounty Oil and Gas NL (BUY) reports the Utopia 7 oil development well in the Utopia Field, south-west Queensland, had been cased and completed as an oil producer with perforations over a 7m interval in the Murta Zone. Oil production from this new well will start in mid-January and be sold and trucked to the Eromanga Refinery, about 50 kilomtres to the north.
