Star Entertainment has once again asked the NSW and Queensland governments for tax relief as it nears collapse, burning through $50 million in a month and calling in restructuring advisors to stave off administration.
The company, which operates casinos in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, has also sought safe harbour for its board, providing protection for its directors should the business be trading insolvent.
