Former Paramount executive Jarrod Villani will run Tabcorp’s Sky Racing and the wagering giant’s commercial operations, becoming the first major hire at the bookmaker under new chief executive Gillon McLachlan.
Mr Villani was a managing partner at advisory firm KordaMentha and oversaw the restructure and sale of Network Ten to CBS. The broadcaster collapsed in 2017 when its major backers, billionaire businessmen Lachlan Murdoch and Bruce Gordon, declined to keep financing it.
