Nine Entertainment’s board has apologised to staff after an independent review of its culture found half of the media company’s employees had seen or experienced abuses of power, bullying and discrimination.

In a company-wide message on Thursday afternoon, Nine chair Catherine West said the board was “deeply disappointed and saddened” by the findings of the four-month review by workplace culture agency Intersection.
