Melbourne CBD office vacancy touches 20pc

Nearly one-fifth of office space in central Melbourne lies empty as the city’s CBD struggles with the long-term consequences of the pandemic era and the rise of remote work.
Those challenges are pushing the Victorian capital’s office sector further behind its interstate rivals, especially Sydney, where the vacancy rate improved over the last quarter, according to JLL.
