Greens, Libs to play hardball on CFMEU legislation

Plans to force the CFMEU into administration risk degenerating into a political bunfight amid threats by the Greens and the Coalition to delay or even block the passage of legislation rushed into parliament on Monday.
The legislation enables every state and territory construction division of the union to be placed into administration for up to three years. It contains stiff fines and jail terms for any person or union that tries to undermine the work of the administrator.
