Paris | Rowing Australia has launched an immediate inquest into the team’s worst Olympic performance in almost four decades, saying the body would “leave no stone unturned” as it tries to work out what went wrong.

Performance director Paul Thompson said in a statement that the review, which would be conducted by an independent company, would cover the performances, the training program, taper practices, selection process and overall strategy.
