CFMEU appoints anti-corruption expert to solve issues ‘head-on’

The CFMEU has appointed a leading anti-corruption expert to investigate allegations of criminal activity, as the militant union insists it’s solving wide scale issues “head-on”.
National secretary Zach Smith revealed that Geoffrey Watson SC, a barrister who was a counsel assisting the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption, had been appointed to investigate allegations relating to the CFMEU.
