First-term senator Fatima Payman has not ruled out forming her own political party after she quit the ALP, citing its “indifference” to the plight of Palestinians in Gaza.
While insisting she would be an independent senator for Western Australia focused on the gamut of policy issues, Senator Payman said, “at this stage” she had no plans to form a party.
