Qantas and Virgin could invest more to lift customer service: ACCC

Qantas and Virgin could invest more of their big profits to lift reliability and service for passengers, the consumer watchdog has found in its first domestic aviation market monitoring report.
Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers restored the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s monitoring powers last November. The ACCC found domestic aviation passenger levels and seat capacity “appear to be stabilising”.
