Aussie bosses falling behind in tech race

Australia’s business executives are lagging other rich countries in adopting technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, and this is contributing to the economy’s productivity slowdown, Productivity Commission chairwoman Danielle Wood says.

While government policies beyond tax and industrial relations were rightly under scrutiny for their impact on productivity, Ms Wood also put the onus back on business leaders to overcome their discomfort in diffusing new technologies into the workplace.
