Why Australia Post’s CEO was gobsmacked by his new office
The nation’s mail delivery service may no longer have a rock star chief executive, but chairwoman Siobhan McKenna says it now has a “rock solid” one.
When Australia Post’s no-frills CEO Paul Graham walked into his new 19th-floor office in Bourke Street, Melbourne, he was gobsmacked.
The highly secured office, enjoyed by high-profile predecessors Ahmed Fahour and Christine Holgate, took out half the floor – the good side overlooking Bourke Street. Then there was the dining room, private kitchen, meeting room and, of course, an executive bathroom. “It was ridiculous,” Graham tells BOSS.
