Big business wants the government to use the information that companies collect on hackers to take the fight to cybercriminals and stop threats from disrupting their systems.
Westpac chief information security officer Richard Johnson said businesses had started to work with the newly appointed cybersecurity co-ordinator to start actively blocking threats.
