Widodo urges ‘concrete action’ from Albanese to ease US-China rivalry

Jakarta | Indonesian President Joko Widodo will urge Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to take “concrete action” to maintain peace in the Indo-Pacific in a regional push against escalating US-China tensions.
Mr Widodo, who arrives in Sydney on Monday for his first visit to Australia in 3½ years, now accepts Canberra’s decision to join the AUKUS security pact with the United States and Britain.
