NIB has agreed to tip $24 million into Midnight Health, the online script service it has a majority stake in, despite the country’s medical board forcing telehealth companies to tighten standards for digital consultations.

The new rules, which come into effect in September, will require doctors to have a phone or video conversation with patients. Currently, patients only need to fill out an online form to have a script sent to them,
