Bryan, Texas | Disgraced Theranos chief executive Elizabeth Holmes reported to a federal prison for the start of her 11-year sentence for overseeing a blood-testing hoax that became a parable about greed and hubris in Silicon Valley.
Holmes, 39, was convicted of fraud last year for duping investors – including News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison – who contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in the failed Silicon Valley start-up.
