Andrew Constance leads NSW Senate race to be Jim Molan’s successor

Former NSW minister Andrew Constance has emerged as a narrow favourite to win a Senate seat held by the late Jim Molan, after scoring an endorsement from former premier Gladys Berejiklian and the support of Marise Payne, who will represent Peter Dutton at the ballot.
The Senate Liberal preselection race has drawn a field of six candidates, including former Lindsay MP Fiona Scott, Shepherd Centre executive David Brady and Liberal Party state president Maria Kovacic.
