Chances of the Voice of parliament receiving bipartisan support could evaporate as soon as Wednesday with the Liberal Party poised to adopt a take-it-or-leave-it approach on its demands for an overhaul.

With Anthony Albanese sceptical of the Liberals’ motives and in no mood to accept change or further delay, the Liberal party room will decide its final position in a special meeting on Wednesday.
