PM’s Voice backflip not enough: Dutton

The Albanese government’s backdown in agreeing to have the Australian Electoral Commission mail a pamphlet to voters to explain the Voice to parliament is not enough to secure the Opposition’s support for legislation to enable the referendum.
After The Australian Financial Review revealed the concession on Wednesday morning, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said he still wanted funding for the Yes and No campaigns, something the government is refusing to agree to.
