BoQ’s George Frazis out door amid CEO turmoil

Bank of Queensland has been left in leadership turmoil after star chief executive George Frazis suddenly exited the regional lender following a tumultuous relationship with the board and its chairman.

The move, announced on Monday morning, was so swift that chairman Patrick Allaway is taking over as executive chairman immediately as a lengthy search kicks off for a new leader to run the bank.
