Medibank hackers double release of medical files: list HIV, hepatitis

The criminals who stole data from Australia’s biggest health insurer, Medibank, have shared a fifth set of files with nearly 1500 medical records, more than doubling the number of records released.
The 1496 records posted by the hackers onto the dark web on Sunday are understood to relate to a range of diseases, including HIV, hepatitis and mental illness. They add to the 1243 records already shared since the second week of this month.
