Tokyo | Beijing says it hopes Anthony Albanese will put aside differences and find common ground with China as the Australian prime minister prepares to meet Xi Jinping on Tuesday.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Tuesday that China hoped the two countries could rebuild mutual trust and get bilateral relations back on track.
