Care A2 Plus gains access to big US infant formula buyers
Care A2 Plus has penned a new licensing deal with Miami-based Gensco Pharma to gain an entrée into US Food Banks, retail grocery chains, and government-backed military commissaries to distribute tins of baby formula.
Following months of delays the start-up has shipped about 115,000 tins of formula since December. Care A2 Plus was one of the first companies to get the tick from the US government to import formula after rules were relaxed following a contamination issue at a major plant in Michigan last year.
