The government’s plan for a National Anti-Corruption Commission has hit an early speed bump with its “exceptional” stance on public hearings. But finding the right person to head up the integrity watchdog will be the really difficult task.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus introduced the NACC bill and explanatory memorandum into Parliament on Wednesday and provided the “who, what and when” detail that has been missing to date.
