The majority of readers of The Australian Financial Review believe that Scott Morrison should resign from politics after it was revealed that the former prime minister secretly appointed himself to five ministries between 2020 and 2021.

A poll found 61 per cent of Financial Review readers think Mr Morrison should quit politics, while 31 per cent said the former prime minister should remain as the member for Cook for the rest of the parliamentary term.
