Singapore/Jakarta | Russia’s war in Ukraine once again got in the way as finance ministers and central bank governors from the Group of 20 major economies met in Bali in what host nation Indonesia had warned was a test of the multilateral system.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Reserve Bank of Australia governor Philip Lowe were among those gathered in Bali. Finance ministers from Russia and China attended meetings virtually.
