Cashless welfare card scare campaign a complete lie: PM

Scott Morrison has labelled claims his government will force pensioners to use a cashless welfare card an “absolute lie”, as Labor ramps up a scare campaign it hopes will prompt elderly voters to think twice about supporting the Coalition.
Mr Morrison was on the campaign trail in Queensland on Thursday, where he paid a visit to the Living Gems Caboolture retirement village in the marginal seat of Longman, north of Brisbane.
