Australia to sign interim FTA with India this weekend

Singapore | The Indian and Australian governments are slated to sign an interim free trade agreement on Saturday after years of on-again, off-again negotiations.
Getting the deal over the line will be a coup for Australia and a fillip for the Morrison government as it heads toward an election. India, the world’s second largest country with a population of 1.37 billion, is negotiating with a slew of other countries including Israel and New Zealand.
