Bonza’s COO speed hump of little concern for regulators

Prospective domestic airline challenger Bonza is unlikely to face any major regulatory repercussions from the sudden exit of its chief operating officer Peter McNally in February, according to the civil aviation watchdog.

The would-be carrier is yet to secure the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) it needs to start flying from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). So, when Mr McNally – the co-founder of Bonza – abruptly left, it sparked talk in the sector about possible delays that may threaten Bonza’s mid-year launch.
