London | An impatient and frustrated Russian President Vladimir Putin may demand a blitzkrieg on Ukrainian cities that echoes the obliteration of the Chechnyan city of Grozny, Western officials fear.
There are also concerns that despite Ukraine’s unexpected early success in resisting Putin’s invasion, Russia is now starting to recalibrate its strategy and gather its forces for a more organised and devastating assault.
