Parents and doctors report delays to children’s vaccine rollout
Parents across the eastern states reported cancellations or postponements of their children’s’ vaccination appointments as the rollout of jabs for five to 11-year-olds faced delays before it even officially started on Monday.
Some general practices have reportedly received only 10 per cent of the jabs they are equipped to administer, according to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, while others do not have enough staff to give the shots due to COVID-19 infection and isolation.
