Medical pathology and imaging business Healius has announced its first big acquisition, bioanalytical laboratory Agilex Biolabs, for $301.3 million, but it will be forced to keep its small fertility services provider after an agreement with Virtus Health was scuttled by competition concerns.
Healius described the purchase as a long-term strategic acquisition, that offers growth in the clinical trials sector. Kate Geraghty
