Time to rethink Berkshire Hathaway
Charlie Munger’s rare appearance at the Australian version of the Sohn Hearts & Minds Investment Conference drew attention to the conservatism that could well be holding back the company’s performance.
As the right-hand man of one of the most successful investors of the past 56 years, Berkshire Hathaway’s vice-chairman Charlie Munger deserves respect, particularly when it comes to stock analysis and the psychology of investors.
He knows the legendary Warren Buffett so well that whenever Munger speaks it is akin to hearing the great man himself, who, between 1965 and 2021, built a business worth $624 billion.
