Singapore | China has underlined the importance of a “more co-operative” relationship between the world’s great two powers, reinforcing what veteran US diplomat Henry Kissinger on Wednesday described as a “good beginning”.

Speaking at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore, the still influential 98-year-old, who served as US secretary of state and national security adviser in the Nixon and Ford administrations, reached back to the late 1700s to make his point.
