CEOs want open borders, more migration

Business leaders insist a faster reopening of state borders and a ramping up of skilled migration are needed to ensure the nation’s infrastructure project pipeline – forecast by Infrastructure Australia to be a record $218 billion over the next five years – can be delivered.
Chief executives will tell The Australian Financial Review Infrastructure Summit on Monday that there is no time to waste if Australia is to take full advantage of a global post-pandemic boom.
