ALE Property Group could make its first acquisition in more than a decade this year after managing director Guy Farrands said the country’s biggest pub landlord would work with its tenant, newly-listed hospitality giant Endeavour Group, to grow its business.
Mr Farrands, who took over from long-serving managing director Andrew Wilkinson in October last year, declined media interviews as ALE reported a 13 per cent rise in distributable earnings to $34.4 million for the 2021 financial year and as it booked a healthy $141.3 million valuation gain across its 78 venues.
