Vaccination experts have questioned Scott Morrison’s criticism of the nation’s top immunisation advisers, saying the government has ultimate responsibility for the messy rollout of the AstraZeneca jab.

As Australia delivered 1 million doses in seven days for the first time, the Prime Minister publicly implored the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation to reconsider the balance of risk related to the Oxford University-developed vaccine, after it was recommended only for Australians over 60.
