The nation’s biggest shopping centre operators have told health authorities they are ready to help accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination rollout, potentially paving the way for jabs in multi-storey car parks.

Peter Allen, the boss of shopping centre giant Scentre Group, has helped co-ordinate the pitch to federal and state chief health officers, in his role as chairman of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia.
