G7 delivers for Morrison on China

Carbis Bay, Cornwall | The G7 economies have taken up the cudgels against China for the first time, in a boost to Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s quest for the West to “have Australia’s back”.
Mr Morrison’s trip to Britain for the G7 appears to have paid off, with the summit communique pledging to tackle China’s market-distorting economic practices and its authoritarian actions in Hong Kong and Xinjiang.
