Nowhere is this gain better demonstrated than in quantum computing, where our scientists are pushing ahead on fronts that include atomic fabrication of silicon and the use of synthetic diamonds – to name two of our most promising technologies – in a field that promises to provide the next quantum leap for the nation and the planet.
