Next month’s federal budget will be only a downpayment on measures tailored to benefit female voters, with the government planning a more extensive policy rollout in the lead-up to the next federal election.
While the budget, for example, is expected to contain changes to superannuation to help women bolster their retirement savings, more substantial measures such as a mechanism to enable catch-up contributions are likely to come later.
