It’s true, and we have previously argued, that in her ouster from Australia Post, she was treated appallingly by a political and media class more concerned with optics than the Cartier watch issue’s totally innocuous substance. But the conflation (by Holgate’s supporters) of the scourge of workplace bullying with a chairman’s difficult decision to oust a CEO who had lost the support of Australia Post’s only shareholder rather sticks in our craw.
