The world’s biggest pie maker, Patties Foods, has put its two Victorian food manufacturing plants in Melbourne and Bairnsdale up for sale and expects a combined price of about $130 million.
Patties Foods, best known for its Four’N Twenty meat pies, will lease back both facilities on 30-year terms as owner Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) looks to recycle capital into expanding the group’s food production capabilities.
