In handing the reins to Ian Narev, Seek chief executive and co-founder Andrew Bassat will launch a restructure designed to give the group’s very different sides room to grow.

For the first time in 23 years, online classifieds group Seek won’t have a Bassat at the helm. Chief executive, co-founder and major shareholder Andrew Bassat announced he would hand the reins to former Commonwealth Bank chief executive and current Seek second-in-charge, Ian Narev, as part of a radical restructuring of the group.
