Snow covers nearly three-quarters of the US
Washington | An Arctic blast continued to wreak havoc across a large swath of the United States on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) after a snowstorm left more than a dozen dead, millions without power and officials in some places saying residents might be in the dark for days.
Total US oil production has plunged by nearly third as the unprecedented cold blast freezes well operations across central US, according to traders and industry executives with direct knowledge of the operations.
