Clark review of WHO the main game for Australia
The Federal government is putting its faith in the investigation helmed by former New Zealand prime minister Helen Clark to drive reform of the World Health Organisation, after a separate probe by experts failed to conclusively identify the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
While the government welcomed the expert panel’s dismissal of the theory pushed by the former Trump administration that the virus escaped from a laboratory in the city of Wuhan, there was disappointment it continued to entertain the possibility the virus entered China via frozen food packaging.
