San Francisco | A second voting machine vendor has filed a defamation suit against supporters of former President Donald Trump for claiming that the company was part of an elaborate conspiracy to rig the 2020 presidential election.
Florida-based Smartmatic is filing the suit against Fox News, some of its better-known news employees and two attorneys close to Trump, Sidney Powell and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
