Britain, Europe await Biden's reset on climate, China and trade
London | British and European leaders will look to court new US President Joe Biden by focusing on their renewed common interest in action on climate change, but experts warn geopolitics will not return to any pre-Trump normal, particularly on China.
Lawrence Summers, former US Treasury Secretary and an adviser to presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, told a meeting of European finance ministers on Monday the US and Europe had the "opportunity to renew their relationship" and "return to a cooperative approach".
