We're a long way from WHO's ideal COVID-19 vaccine

The ideal global vaccine for COVID-19 would be a single dose, administered without a needle or syringe and requiring no cold storage at all, according to a set of criteria laid out by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
It seems a big ask from where we are, but there are vaccines deep in the development pipeline that could eventually meet some of these and other WHO criteria.
