Australians stranded in coronavirus-ravaged Britain now have a route home through Singapore again after the city-state removed a ban on transiting through Changi Airport.

The ban came in response to rising case numbers in the UK as a faster-spreading strain of COVID-19 emerged, with other nations taking similar steps to reduce their exposure to the variant.
